Taste of Alpharetta is now in its 25th year and has become an annual tradition for festival-goers, families and food connoisseurs.  Make reservations on your calendar to dine in Historic Downtown Alpharetta at over 60 restaurants in one fun night. Sample delicious appetizers, entrees and desserts from the top chefs in town.  Enjoy culinary demonstrations, activities for all ages and entertainment to please every palette.  Free Admission. You may purchase food tickets on site at our Ticket Booths and that are $.50 each. Restaurants participating in the Taste will not be accepting cash; tickets only. Restaurants will charge $1-3 per food sample..

Music Stage will have harmonic rock/folk/R&B bands. A separate Culinary Competition Stage will pair top area chefs against one another in 5 categories – Best Appetizer/Salad,  Best Fast Casual,  Best Fine Dining, Best Presentation and Best Dessert.  Award winners are presented on the Main Stage approximately 8:30 pm.  Everyone can Vote for the People’s Choice award at the Culinary Competition Stage before 7:00 pm.  Party with metro Atlanta radio stations.  Play at the Fun Zones.  Come out and enjoy Alpharetta’s premier dining experience!

CULINARY COMPETITIONS AND STAGE (Located on Roswell Street):

From 5 - 7:30 pm Culinary Competitions will heat up Roswell Street.   A separate Culinary Stage diagonally across from the Music Stage will pair top area chefs against one another in contests for Best Salad/Appetizer, Best Fast Casual Entree, Best Fine Dining Entrée, Best Dessert, Best Presentation and Best Booth. You won't want to miss the demonstrations by our top chefs!!

PEOPLE'S CHOICE AWARDS (Located on Roswell Street at the Culinary Stage):

Ballots will be available at the Culinary Stage through 7pm. There are no judging guidelines for this category. The restaurant with the most votes wins the People’s Choice Award, so stop by the stage!

FUN ZONES (located on Old Roswell and Old Canton Streets):

Parking & Directions


PARKING

The Taste of Alpharetta is located in Historic Downtown across from Alpharetta City Hall at 2 Park Plaza, Alpharetta, GA 30009.

FREE Parking and Shuttle System available.  Arriving and leaving the event, shuttles will drop off and pick up by a Ticket Booth on the corner of Roswell Street approx. every 20 minutes from 5-10 pm.  Please see the event map for more details.

Park and Walk (NO Shuttle Service):

1- Milton Center (86 School Drive at Independence High / old Milton High School)

If you are traveling North on Highway 9 take a left onto Wills Road, then right onto Milton Ave (if you take a left the same road is called Mid Broadwell Road).  Milton Center will be on your left.

If you are traveling South on Highway 9, take a right onto Mayfield Road, then left onto Canton Street and right onto School Drive which takes you directly into the Milton Center parking lot.

2- City Hall Parking Deck (2 Park Plaza)

If you are traveling North on Highway 9, parking deck will be on your right hand side once you cross over Old Milton Parkway.

If you are traveling South on Highway 9, take a left on Academy St, and then an immediate right into the parking deck entrance.


Park and Ride (Shuttle Service):

1- Wills Park at Wacky World (on Old Milton Parkway to the right of the Alpharetta City Pool)
2- Wills Park Equestrian Center (at 11915 Wills Road, Alpharetta, GA 30009)


Handicap Parking and Shuttle Service

1- Parking - Near 33 South Main Street, Alpharetta, GA 30009 behind the old gas station; Traveling North on Highway 9, it is just past All Fired Up on the left.  Handicap Sign will be visible from street.  From this parking lot there is level access directly onto the event site at Old Roswell Street near the Fun Zone.

2- Shuttles - All shuttle routes will have one handicap accessible buses rotating every other pick up and/ or drop off (approx every 20 minutes).  Please be patient as we shuttle people to the new location.  If you would like to park with close and level access directly onto the event site, please use the reserved handicap parking lot at 33 South Main Street, Alpharetta, GA 30009 behind the old gas station.


DIRECTIONS TO EVENT

FROM GA 400 NORTH – Exit at Haynes Bridge Road.  Turn left off exit onto Haynes Bridge Road. Follow until Haynes Bridge Road until it   intersects with Old Milton Parkway.  Take a left onto Old Milton Parkway.  Stay on Old Milton Parkway until it intersects with South Main Street/Alpharetta Hwy. /SR 9.   Take a right onto South Main Street/Alpharetta Hwy. /SR 9 and the event site will be on your left across from City Hall (2 South Main Street, Alpharetta, GA 30009).  Reference parking locations and addresses above.
