Stream Restoration Project to Impact Webb Bridge Park Trail Access
A small portion of the trail system at Webb Bridge Park will be closed to public access beginning Monday, October 21, 2013. The section of trail that will be closed is approximately .2 miles and is in the wooded area near the stream. The purpose of the closure is to perform stream restoration work. Officials with the City of Alpharetta Department of Engineering and Public Works estimate closure of this portion of the trail through February 21, 2014. The main trail system will be accessible during this time.
Residents of neighborhoods adjacent to the park will continue to use their regular access points to the trail. Once the project begins, construction crews will work dawn to dusk on weekdays and Saturdays to complete the work as quickly and efficiently as possible to minimize the impact on neighbors and park patrons.
