Join Jenny Burdette for a presentation on photography in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and surrounding areas. The Smokies offer ample opportunity for wildlife, landscapes (grand vistas and intimate settings), wildflowers, seasonal color, historic buildings, sunrises, sunsets, and water scenes. Jenny will discuss the best photo opportunities for each area of the park in different times of the year. Spoiler alert: there is no bad time to visit the Smokies as long as you know what you're looking for. Join us and be ready to get all the great shots on your next trip to this iconic location!

Jenny Burdette
A retired educator, Jenny now combines her love of nature with her passion for photography. Her work has appeared on the covers and pages of Georgia 's Great Places magazine, Birds and Blooms magazine, and Living Bird, the magazine of the Cornell Lab of Ornithology. Her images are featured in the Visitor Centers and other buildings at several of Georgia's state parks, and her award-winning photographs of wildlife and wilderness landscapes have been included in juried exhibitions throughout Georgia. Jenny has traveled to the Smokies in each season for the past several years and lists the area as an all-time favorite place to photograph.
