Wreaths Across America Event

This year on December 16th, the Alpharetta and Old Milton County Historical Society will join again with the Patriots of Liberty Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) to participate in Wreaths Across America.

All across the country holiday wreaths will be placed on veterans’ graves to honor and remember those that have served in our military. Due to last year’s generous support from our members and community, the Patriots of Liberty Chapter was able to add four new cemeteries for a total of eight in the North Fulton area. They are Rest Haven, Pineview, Old Big Creek, Big Creek Primitive Baptist, Pleasant Hill Baptist, Providence Baptist, Rogers Bell, and Maxwell cemeteries.

Resthaven Cemetery will be the main location of the event however wreaths will be places at all the mentioned locations.
