Details

This presentation is an introduction to how our brains process the world around us and how that influences the way we think about and create art. We will cover topics such as the influence of color, line, art history, and cognition on both our own art and the art of others. We will also discuss how these themes influence the stories we perceive in the art.

Join us as we discuss the fascinating nexus of how visual perception, storytelling, and creativity changes how we interact with art.

Speaker: Sara Aspy

Sara Aspy has been a photographer for 15 years ever since her parents dragged her along with them on photo shoots and refused to allow her to bring her books along. They stuck a camera in her hands and the rest is history. She is a proud dyslexic and has long been fascinated with how our brains perceive the world around us. Creative since childhood, she has taken up many crafts. She has won many awards for her photographic work and has works published in multiple magazines

* GNPA ALPHARETTA Chapter Monthly Meetings, which include speaker presentations, at the Alpharetta Arts Center are open to the general public to join at no cost.
