Lee) and for the past twenty years Jonathan he has portrayed Rev. Nathaniel Pratt of Roswell Presbyterian Church, Major James Bulloch of Bulloch Hall, Barrington King, and others for the City of Roswell and many of the Roswell historic homes. Mr. Crooks currently sits on the Board of Trustees for the “Friends of Bulloch.” Mr. Crooks has also had the honor of portraying former Alpharetta Mayor John Teasley “Tater Teas” Upshaw, an ancestor of one of our AOMCHS members, for Alpharetta’s “Restless in Resthaven” production.
Mr. Crooks was head of the volunteers for the Stone House at Manassas National Battlefield Park for three years and a volunteer there for over five years leading historical talks at the battlefield. He is a past vice president of the Roswell Historical Society and has presented many talks on Roswell History to many local groups for the past twenty years.
All of the above experiences helped train Mr. Crooks for work within the field of paranormal investigations. For the last seventeen years, he has led the Roswell Ghost Tours and has been a part of paranormal investigations in Roswell and Civil War battlefields in the area.
