Help Shape Future Of Windward And State Route 9 Corridors

The effort to cast the future for the Windward Parkway and Highway 9 Corridors continues on Wednesday, November 15, and Alpharetta residents, business owners, and others who work or visit the area are encouraged to play a role.

The City of Alpharetta has partnered with the City of Milton and True North 400 to create a strategic plan for this important area of our community, which is home to major employers, shopping destinations, and thousands of residents.  The plan will identify potential investments in mobility, transportation, green space, and placemaking to improve the area's quality of life and economic competitiveness.

The next opportunity for the public to help create the vision and plan for the corridors is being held on November 15 at the Alpharetta Hilton on Windward Parkway.  This is an open house-style event running from 5:30 PM until 7:30 PM featuring activities designed to get your feedback.  Brief overview presentations of the proposed concepts will be given at 5:30 PM and 6:30 PM.

Community feedback will shape the foundation of the plan’s recommendations; therefore, anyone with an interest in the future of the study area is strongly encouraged to participate.
