  • How often am I billed for garbage service?

    The City of Alpharetta bills for garbage services once a quarter. The billing dates are March 1, June 1, September 1, and December 1. You have 20-days from the billing date to pay your bill. A late fee in the amount of $5.00 will be imposed after the 21st day.


  • If my garbage services are missed, does the City of Alpharetta credit my account?

    The city does not credit any accounts for missed services. If this occurs, please contact the Republic Services customer service team at 678-407-6216 to make arrangements to pickup any missed items.


  • What are my payment options?

    Online:  Pay using your credit card (Visa, MasterCard, or American Express), debit card, or eCheck (coming soon).

    By phone: Call 678-297-6060 (option 0) to pay using your credit card (Visa, MasterCard or American Express), debit card, or eCheck (coming soon).

    By Mail:  P.O. Box 117022, Atlanta, GA 30368-7022. Please make check(s) payable to the City of Alpharetta.  Mail both the tax stub and your check or money order.  Include account number(s) on your check or money order.

    In Person: 2 Park Plaza, 1st Floor, Financial Services Division Cashier’s Office.  We accept cash, check, money order, credit/debit cards, tap to pay, ApplePay, Samsung Pay and Google Pay.

     

    Personal Online Bank Pay: Pay using your financial institution’s bill pay services.  Make payment payable to City of Alpharetta, and remit payment to: City of Alpharetta, Attn: Financial Services Division, 2 Park Plaza, Alpharetta GA 30009.

    QR Code:  Scan the QR code using your smartphone to make a payment online. You can pay using your credit card (Visa, MasterCard, or American Express), debit card, or eCheck (coming soon).



    Automatic Bank Draft: Setup to have you sanitation payment made directly from your checking or savings account by completing the bank draft application. c
